Uncertainty in health care refers to events (which may or not happen) and to ambiguous or even missing information. It is a major issue for health care professionals and risk communicators, and it can be due to information distortion, gaps between intended and perceived messages, information overload, etc. Such an issue needs to be addressed with both a theoretical and a practical approach, and this is amongst the aims of the TELL ME project.
